Australia is a huge country, it can fit into Europe or North America on a map, with so much choice or where to go and what to see. But what if you want to settle somewhere for a little while? Australia's state capitals are always a good starting point and with each one being so varied from the next how do you know which one is best for you? Today I am breaking down my experience of 5 of the big cities to get you an idea of which is best for your lifestyle.
The story of a travel lover who likes to settle. A bit of a walking contradiction. Musings and findings from where her feet have taken her and where they like to rest.

Australia : See You Soon
687 days. That's how long it has been. 687 days since I changed my life. Since I boarded that first flight bound for uncertainty, for a life that I had never know. For life. That's what Australia gave me, life, or at least a new perspective on it. I never knew when I boarded that first flight how much one person could change in such a small amount of time, but I did. I can barely believe my time here is over however a new adventure calls.

Derbyshire - Chatsworth House
Chatsworth House has to be, by far, one of my favourite places in Derbyshire. The grandeur, the expansive grounds, the events they hold. As a child my parents would take my sister and I up to play on the adventure playground and see the farm yard animals after a walk through the house. For me, it's history and mine, like many others I imagine, are intertwined.

Reflections : June '16
Hello there, what a couple of months it has been! I have been living life to the fullest this and getting in some well deserved adventuring in before my big relocation. I haven't spoken much on my blog, Facebook or Instagram on what I plan on doing over the next few months but it is going to be pretty awesome. I'm currently trying to find motivation to sit down and write my last two months of wandering around into blogposts but somehow finding the time seems to be escaping me.

The Reluctant Wanderlust Turns Two.
In life it is great to celebrate the little things. Today I guess would be one of those days as it is two years since I pressed publish on its first ever post a while I may not have always been consistent with my writing, my thoughts have never been far from sharing my adventures with the world in a hope to inspire more people to take to the road and change their lives.

Tasmania - Hobart
Landing in the state capital of Hobart last week was a bit of a chilly departure from my prior adventure in Cairns. If you have been wandering with me over on Instagram you will have seen the shock change there. Landing on a day when the mountain had snow covered tops, winter was truly setting in but honestly, the chill was a wonderful change as it meant I got to pull out the woolly jumpers and hats.

Noosa - Learn to Surf
One of the many items on any travellers Australian bucket list is a surf lesson, I was no exception. So when I got the time and opportunity in Noosa I booked myself into a morning session at 'Learn to Surf'. Founded by an ex champion surfer and teaching for over 20 years the company has steadily grown.
